Rossini?s fame spread throughout Europe and his works were performed in the main European capitals. From an early age he had to provide for himself and his family and he knew how to benefit from the opportunities of the commercial society in which he lived. He composed works that allowed him to improve his remuneration, creating his own brand, thus expanding his fame, of which businessmen and politicians who requested his favors also took advantage, carrying out investments that allowed him to obtain a significant patrimony.
