Building Law for Students

This work aims to present a clear account of those areas of the law that are of principal relevance to built environment subjects - building construction, planning, surveying, architecture and quantity surveying - and to alert students and practitioners to any areas that may have a legal dimension. Where appropriate, the book offers case study precedents to reinforce the material presented. In other areas of the book, the law covered is framed in statutory form by Parliament.
