Intrusion Detection

In November 2000, the First Workshop on Intrusion Detection and Prevention has taken place, under auspices of the 7th ACM Conference on Computer Security. The selected papers in this volume reflect the contrast of the "old and new" regarding the development in the field of IDS. For instance, papers involving profiling, and a discussion of the relatively recent "business model" of security are included.
