Handwoven Textiles of South-east Asia

This study of the textile traditions of South-East Asia provides important insights into the economic, social, and religious life of its people, in all their cultural diversity. Part one of this study of the subject begins with an historical overview, and then introduces the reader to weaving. In the second part the author, who has visited most of the countries covered in her book, provides a survey of textiles.
