Photovoltaic technology has stood out for generating clean electricity from solar radiation, proving to be a promising solution in the face of growing energy demand and environmental concerns. In order to improve its performance, in addition to its constructive characteristics, an automated, modular and reprogrammable experimental prototype was developed, which allows different configurations to be tested, such as solar tracking, solar concentration and thermal cooling. From this, six lines of research were proposed, including: the influence of tilt angles and orientation, evaluation of the influence of temperature due to the spacing between the modules and the roof, the effects of dirt, tracking on cloudy days, the pitch of the solar tracker and combinations of techniques to maximize the performance of the modules. The experimental results of these lines contribute to optimizing the generation of electrical and thermal energy, both in residential installations and in power plants, as well as informing practical decisions such as optimum positioning angles and maintenance routines that prioritize electrical performance throughout the year.
