Sepecat Jaguar, which replaced the Lightening, was conceived as a trainer, built as a strike fighter and outstanding as a close air support fighter-bomber. This illustrated record comes at the end of a thirty-year history; now in its twilight years, Jaguar has already been discarded in France and the RAF will soon stop using the design. However, Jaguar remains a powerful part of the defence structure for Nigeria, Ecuador and Oman whilst India is still developing its potential. Beautifully illustrated with much previously unpublished material, this book provides a fitting epitaph to this exceptional fighter.
