Having been a lawyer in the media industry for over 11 years, I have used the first edition of the Media Contracts Handbook many, many times. I have always valued its simplicity and ease of use as well as the number of areas it covers. However some of the issues have changed and I am glad that there is an update. If the 2nd version proves as clear and easy to use as the first, I would be more than happy to review it.Having scanned through the book I would conclude that it genuinely achieves its aim as a practical, clear handbook which incorporates useful sample agreements of realistic new media scenarios in an accurate, understandable manner. The handbook's format provides for ease of reference and retrieval of pro formas agreements and I therefore certainly envisage its active use in the course of my work over the forthcoming months - certainly not one for dust collecting on bookshelves!geniunely achieves its aim as a practical, clear handbook ... certainly not one for dust collecting on bookshelves!I have always valued its simplicity and ease of use as well as the number of areas it coversA truimph...Superb breadth of coverage.
