Adrian Laing was called to the Bar in 1978 aged 21 and started his professional legal career as a criminal Barrister, defending and prosecuting in jury trials. Between the Bar and setting up his own legal practice in 2003, Adrian held senior positions at HarperCollins, Hammonds (solicitors), Thames Television and the ITC in addition to writing a few books along the way.
