Codex Alimentarius is a collection of international food standards presented in a uniform manner. Volume 2 contains a list of the maximum residue limits (MRLS) for pesticides, with supplements providing the most up-to-date information. This supplement contains the updated list of all MRLs up to and including the 20th meeting of the Commission. A separate list of extraneous MRLs refers to pesticide residues arising from environmental sources (including former agricultural uses). An update to section 4 on analysis of pesticide residues, reflecting ongoing review, is also included.
