Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy

The advant of BSE has made a sizeable impact throughout much of the world even though few countries, other than the UK, have experienced cases. This publication begins with a look at the history and early spread of BSE and then goes on to research the epidemiology of the disease. It suggests that, if managed properly, BSE can be prevented, controlled and eradicated. The book should be of interset to farmers, those in the veterinary field and disease control authorities.
