Geography Projects

This book offers an approach to geography that is project-based and allows the five Attainment Targets to be combined within these projects to produce balanced coverage of the geography curriculum. The approach, which uses a "skills, themes and places", enables the non-specialist teacher to retain cross-curricular teaching division to plan topics while also tackling the fundamental elements of geography. Project titles include "Earth in Action", "The Neighbourhood", "Mapping it out" and "Weather". For each one a range of stimulating geography activities is provided as well as a web detailing activity links across projects.
