More Moments in Marin History: Familiar Tales and Untold Stories, Volume II is a collection of historical photographs and accompanying articles that first appeared in the Marin Independent Journal newspaper. The photographs, taken from Marin History Museum's vast collection, were carefully selected and researched by Scott Fletcher and capture moments in time that tell the story of a people and a land that have shaped our county's past, present and future. The image subjects are diverse and represent all geographic areas of the county while highlighting many of the contributions and accomplishments of the men and women who have called Marin County their home.

Scott Fletcher, historian and educator, is a graduate of U.C. Berkeley and holds advanced degrees from San Francisco and San Jose State universities. He has written over 130 "History Watch" columns for the Marin History Museum that have appeared in the Marin Independent Journal newspaper. He is a volunteer with the museum working both as a columnist and a cataloguer of the Louise Arner Boyd collection. Mr. Fletcher is a native Californian with a great interest in the history of Marin, where he has made his home since 1985 working both as a history teacher and Library Director in Marin County Schools.
