Active PE: Teacher's Book 2

This is the second of two teacher's guides which comprise a complete PE programme for Key Stage 1/P1-3 and Key Stage 2/P3-7, respectively. The course is organized into several areas of study within the PE curriculum - gymnastics, dance, games, athletics, outdoor and adventurous activities, and swimming. Each area is developed progressively through a wide range of activities, many of which are illustrated. Close links between the various areas are suggested, where appropriate, and the course aims to help young children to develop all aspects of the "physical" child, and also to support their social, conceptual and emotional development.
