Awareness of strategies, policies and preventive actions aimed at improving occupational health and safety is a prerequisite for a better working environment across the European Union. This volume examines the evidence of national strategies related to occupational health in the 13 member states. It presents an overview and assessment of these strategies in the hope that it will make a significant contribution to the future development of health and safety at the workplace in Europe.
