Rhythmogenesis in Neurons and Networks

Comprising the proceedings of the 20th Neurobiology Conference held in Goettingen, this work features coverage of symposia on hormonal orchestration of behaviour, central cholinergic neurons and synapses, rhythmogenesis in respiratory networks, identified neurons and behaviour, the GABA/benzodiazepine receptor, and optical recordings in neurobiology; biophysical and physiological properties of neuronal pacemaker cells; transmitter regulated intrinsic properties in spinal motoneurons; neuromodulatory control of state dependent processing in thalamocortical systems; construction of pattern generating circuits with neurons belonging to different networks; and inhibitory interneurons synchronizing cortical pyramidal neurons.
