Current Therapy in Pediatrics

The originality of this work is based on the compilation of knowledge and experience from both North America and Europe. Each chapter compiles recent advances of the pathophysiology, the diagnosis and treatment of the different topics. Besides general principles, there is a survey of the different paediatric subspecialties: neonatology, gastroenterology, metabolic, endocrine, cardiac, renal, respiratory, dermatologic, infectious, allergic, haematologic, neurologic and ophthalmic diseases. Antimicrobial therapy is treated extensively.
