Designed to complement other clinical guidance endorsed by the Trust such as JRCALC and UK Resuscitation Council Guidelines, the manual serves as a truly Trust-wide document. Wherever you are working in the region, you should find the information you need to navigate the right care for your patient. Colour-coded markers shows the skills that are expected of a specific staff group. Before undertaking any procedure you should be confident that it is within your scope of practice, that you have had appropriate training, and that you have been deemed competent in its use. If there is any doubt then guidance should be sought from a manager.
