BGP Video Mentor is a DVD video product that contains a series of short
instructional videos that demonstrate how to accomplish various BGP
configuration and troubleshooting tasks. The DVD contains 21 individual
videos, totaling more than five hours of instruction. The videos consist of
audio instruction, animations, and router video screencasts. Each video lab
presents detailed objectives, lab diagrams, and video captures. Audio
instruction throughout offers detailed explanations, tips, and shortcuts. Video
screencasts of the router CLI sessions demonstrate command entry,
configuration techniques, and device response.
BGP Video Mentor is intended for anyone wishing to understand the basics of
BGP from an operational viewpoint. The product can be used on its own, or as
a supplement for the second edition of Routing TCP/IP Volume II, which
focuses heavily on BGP. Unlike the book, however, which is oriented to a deep
understanding of the BGP protocol, the BGP Video Mentor is intended to
provide a focus on configuration and troubleshooting techniques.
