Life Is a Meeting is an autobiographical play illustrating man's need and desire to be one with God and others. The play includes excerpts from Chuck Dowdle's 2021 novel, Twin Lights, with the added storyline of his fictional daughter-in-law giving birth to a child with Down syndrome and also the inclusion of his second wife Carmelle and her battle with dementia.
Dowdle completed Life Is a Meeting in 2024 at ninety-six years of age. It is a work of insight, compassion, heartache, and grace.
