The Adventurer The Autobiography of Herbert Grove Dorsey III is the story of many adventures on land, sea and air of the protagonist, who started early in life with an abiding faith that the creator would watch over him until the end and that death was merely a transition from the physical experience to the spiritual one.
Also, the real goal of life was to gain experience - not material things. Experience develops wisdom, discernment, compassion, talent and abilities that can be taken to the spirit world. Material things must be left behind.
This philosophy led the author on a journey of adventure on sea voyages and traveling across the country, sometimes ending up in jail and learning, as his father would say, from the school of hard knocks.
Later in life, the adventures delve into political action, three marriages, paranormal phenomena and a recollection of a past life. Finally, the author settles down in paradise, in Hawaii.
This is recommended reading for those that like to read about real life adventures that sometimes delve into the unusual and the hidden.
