James Joyce and Journalism

STEPHEN DONOVAN is Senior Lecturer in the Department of English at Uppsala University, Sweden. He is author of Joseph Conrad and Popular Culture (Palgrave Macmillan, 2005), which received the Joseph Conrad Society of America's Adam Gillon Award for the best book on Conrad published between 2005 and 2010 and co-editor of Authority Matters: Rethinking the Theory and Practice of Authorship (with Danuta Fjellestad and Rolf Lundén, Rodopi, 2008). He has since created a major online resource for the study of Modernism and periodicals, Conrad First: The Joseph Conrad Periodicals Archive (www.conradfirst.net), and edited three issues of Conradiana on the topic of serialization.
