"The Dinosaur Dynasty" is a set of five books which explore all aspects of the dinosaur world. Based on latest research, the books examine the evolution, anatomy, types, life, death and rediscovery of dinosaurs. The series has won the full approval of the "Dinosaur Society" which has among its members Sir David Attenbrough and Professor David Norman of Oxford University. Dougal Dixon has written more than 20 books on dinosaurs for children and non-specialists and has acted as a special advisor, animator and model-maker on television and video dinosaur programmes in the United States, Britain and Japan.
