Service of All the Dead

In the first novel, Inspector Morse alone suspects unrest in the quiet parish of St Frideswide's. "The Secret of Annexe 3" finds Morse involved in a New Year's murder enquiry in a hotel, where the corpse was still in fancy dress and hardly a single guest had registered under their genuine name.
