Penny Delamar began her 30 years of experience as a make-up designer at the BBC in London where she was trained and then worked for 10 years making-up everyone from the Beatles and the Rolling Stones to Margaret Thatcher and Sir Anthony Hopkins. Penny then worked as a freelance make-up artist on films such as 'Santa Claus: the Movie' (as personal make-up artist to Dudley Moore) as well as 'Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom' and 'Robin Hood Prince of Thieves' as well as many others. In 1986 Penny founded the Delamar Academy which is based at Ealing Studios, London and is globally recognised as one of the leading training schools for make-up and hair. Counting Oscar, Bafta and Emmy award winners amongst her alumni, Penny and her team of top tutors have trained many of the most successful make-up artists working all over the world..
