This is a textbook of diagnostic radiology for medical students, based on clinical problem-solving. The author stresses that knowledge of anatomy and observation of changes produced by disease enable one to identify the pathology process that produced those changes. His goal in this text is to show how the recognition of a radiographic pattern allows one to define the pathophysiological process producing that pattern. This is the "detective work" of diagnostic radiology.
