Containing a selection of photographs of Elvis Presley taken by his devotees, this book covers his career from the beginnings as a sulky teen-idol, through his days in the Army, Hollywood, marriage to Priscilla, Lisa Marie's birth and the glitter era. Jim Curtin has chosen 400 from his collection of more than 5000 photographs of Presley. The book is divided into five sections - the Fifties, the Army, Hollywood, the comeback and the last years - each of which includes a textual overview of what was happening in Presley's life at the time.
