A Dog's Life in the Dales

Katy Cropper, the only woman to have won television's "One Man and His Dog", offers a portrait of the dogs, sheep and ducks who inhabit her life in the Yorkshire Dales. She cheerfully admits that, while she is sometimes too frisky for humans to handle, she has always been happy with animals. And although the animals are the real stars of her book, it also features the human characters whom Katy encounters in the hills, valleys and villages.
