"Do You Require Planning Permission?" provides an easy-to-use reference to the various exemptions from planning permission that are contained in the Local Government (Planning and Development) Regulations 2001. It seeks to explain in simple terms the most likely interpretation of the exemptions from planning permission, and the conditions that must be met in order to obtain any benefit from them. To ease the understanding the language and requirements of the exemptions are also simplified throughout the book and areas where disagreements occur between developers and Planning Authorities are identified.
