This book looks at the controversial changes that have occurred in cricket in the last 25 years, such as the isolation of South Africa from Test cricket because of apartheid, the ensuing "rebel tours", the cancellation of England's 1988/89 tour to India, and the threat from Kerry Packer's alternative cricket circuit. The book also looks at bad habits and bad behaviour that have also become a feature of the last 25 years, whether the problems are caused by bouncers or the treatment of umpires. Supported by a range of incidents that have taken place, both on and off the field, this book aims to give a view of another side of cricket. The author was former chief cricket correspondent for the "Daily Mail".
