Myasthenia Gravis: The Immunobiology of an Autoimmune Disease

This book describes the molecular interactions which occur in the autoimmune disease Myasthenia Gravis and its experimental model, Experimental Myasthenia Gravis. These diseases are due to an autoimmune reaction against the muscle nicotinic acetylocholine receptor. The book summarizes what is presently known about the structure of the target autoantigens of these diseases and the domains recognized by antibodies and T helper cells.
