Dr Chris Colles is a highly regarded equine veterinary surgeon. He has had numerous papers published in journal, contributed to several veterinary books and lectured to learned societies worldwide. He is an Honorary Fellow of the Worshipful Company of Farriers, an accolade rarely bestowed on those outside the farriery profession.
Ron Ware is a Fellow of the Worshipful Company of Farriers. Well-respected in his field, he was consultant farrier to the Animal Health Trust in Newmarket and the Hong Kong Jockey Club.
John Hayes is an Associate of the Worshipful Company of Farriers. He joined the British Army in 1977 and served 22 years, 12 of them with the Household Cavalry, where he trained as a farrier, and 10 years as a farriery instructor after transferring to The Royal Army Veterinary Corps. When he left the Army in1999 he became a lecturer at Warwickshire College and eventual senior lecturer in farriery in 2014, where he has helped in the training of hundreds of apprentices.
