Coping with Adolescent Refugees

The book focuses attention on a specific group of some 1,000 youths in the event known as Mariel Boatlife. As the first scientific study of one of the subpopulations chosen by Castro for expulsion from Cuba, this book integrates the fields of mental health and refugee care to show how the serious problems of adaptation and coping were met in the rapidly changing circumstances of a major man-made disaster.
