"This is called a "Complete" guide and it lives up to its name -- its coverage is impressively comprehensive. David has the knack of being able to write just the appropriate amount on each of his topics and to do so in an accurate and succinct manner. If he says a pub is 'old', it's old -- if he says a restaurant is 'expensive', then it will cost a lot to eat there!
