Rezensionen / Stimmen
Land Of Hope and Glory, subtitled A Festival of Epic British Music, is a collection of 12 patriotic, celebratory British melodies. It includes everything you would expect, such as Jerusalem, I Was Glad, Rule Britannia and Crown Imperial. All are about Grade 4-6 standard and are arranged effectively By Barrie Carson Turner. These pieces capture memories of summer Proms and evoke the atmosphere of royal occasions. Really well arranged, they would give a pupil (probably an older, adult pupil) an enjoyable technical workout while playing tunes they know.
Music Teacher Magazine, May 2012
A wonderful selection of the most loved British festival pieces, in their glory.
