Martin Clarke is fascinated by water. A native Australian, he has spent most of that time surfing, swimming, and soaking up his muse: the ocean. Although Martin came to painting late in life, he is driven by a constant strive to make each piece his best. When asked where his inspiration comes from, he talks of the beach on an early summer morning: "how the surf pounds the sandy shore's back, how the sun glistens off towering wave faces, and the sea spray catches light, sparkling like diamonds." Based in Mandurah, Western Australia, Martin is surrounded by the Indian Ocean, the Peel Harvey Estuary, and the Dawesville Cut.
Anita Hampton is a painter and teacher who currently holds workshops at the prestigious Scottsdale Art School in Arizona.
Michael Obermeyer, holder of a BFA from California State University, Long Beach, exhibits across California and maintains his studio in Laguna Beach, CA.
Kevin Short graduated with honors from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. His main artistic focus is painting landscapes of the two places he calls homeEUR"the desert and the beach.
For more than 30 years, Alan has divided his career between the fine arts and the film industry. He has exhibited in galleries and museums across the US, most notably the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., and the Alternative Museum, NYC. He has contributed as a matte painter to such movies as Cliffhanger, Dante's Peak, Titanic, A.I., and What Dreams May Come.
