Localization of Genetic Factors for Nonspecific and Syndromic X-linked Mental Retardation

Mental retardation (MR) is a problem affecting about two per cent of the general population, the origin frequently being genetic. This study concentrates on X-linked mental retardation, MR caused by mutations in genes on the X chromosome.
