Guide to the Patents Acts, 1977

This detailed body of case law, orders and guidelines generated by all the relevant bodies and jurisdictions has been revised and updated in order to incorporate changes in the "Patents Act 1977" and the "Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988". The edition includes discussion of many unreported decisions as well as tables of statutes, statutory instruments, EPO, PCT and CPC references. Sections of the Acts are printed in full and followed by the relevant rules and a commentary. Additional reading lists draw attention to relevant books, articles and reviews that may be studied for further information. The appendices also contain updated commentaries and further information. Subject matter includes the still relevant sections of the "Patents Act 1946", extracts from the Treaty of Rome with commentary, the EEC Block Exemption Regulations for the licensing of intellectual property rights, and the reprinting of many of the rules of the Supreme Court.
