European Patent Law Service: CD-Rom

This CD-ROM brings together all the vital material required on the European Patent System. Based on two patent references sources, "The European Patent Source Finder" and "The European Patents Handbook", it contains the full, updated text of both of these works. The CD-ROM contains over 2000 fully indexed references, with summaries, to the most important material having a bearing on European Patent Convention law, practice and procedure. It gives immediate access to prime sources of information decisions, many from the European Patent Appeal Boards; advice from the Legal Division of the European Patent Office concerning European Patent Convention practice; and decisions of national courts and patent offices in the contracting states to the Convention. The electronic index makes looking for the exact information required easier, as users can key in a term to see exactly how many times it appears in the text, isolate important headings where they lead the text, and jump between sections quickly and easily, eg from the commentary to the sources.
