Practical Organic Mass Spectrometry

A large number of developments have occurred in mass spectrometry over the last five years and this updated book reflects those changes. New sections have been added and some of the more out of date ideas from the first edition eliminated. Included in the new material is time-of-flight and Fourier transform instrumentation, expansion of the section on LC/MS as well as a new section on SFC/MS, and a new chapter on "in-solution" ionization techniques and their use in LC/MS coupling. Also included is a discussion on triple quadrupole and modified sector instruments and the application of metastable ion scanning including MS/MS.
