He is regarded within the tennis community as one of the best doubles coaches in the world. Cayer coaches one of the current highest ranked doubles players, Daniel Nestor, and coached the Olympic gold-medal winning doubles team in 2000. Cayer conducts clinics for aspiring juniors internationally with the ITF. The ITF is the worldwide governing body for tennis.
