In Search of Tiger

After following the notoriously private Tiger Woods around the world of golf for over a decade, Tom Callahan has written the seminal book on this golfing great. He has covered Woods at all the majors, including the Masters, the US Open and the British Open, and he was there every step of the way during Tiger's heart-stopping race to make history by clinching the string of majors nicknamed the 'Tiger Slam'. Callahan enjoyed a certain access to the man and his parents, and his relationship with the family then deepened when he undertook a remarkable journey to Vietnam to learn the fate of the South Vietnamese soldier befriended by Earl Woods during the war and after whom Woods named his son. Along the way, Tom Callahan hears from everyone who is anyone in the world of Tiger Woods, including Phil Mickelson, Jack Nicklaus, David Duval, Butch Harmon, Ernie Els and, of course, Tiger's ubiquitous mother and father.
