Birth Defects Encyclopaedia

This reference work has an encyclopaedic structure running from A-Z. While the authors are all specialists from each discipline or sub-discipline the book is arranged alphabetically and therefore all the disciplines are integrated. Within each description (sample attached) there are sub-groups or synonyms and important exclusions. Each entry also covers major diagnostic criteria, clinical findings, complications, aetiology, occurrence, prevention, treatment, prognosis and special considerations. There are also references to say when the defect was identified, confirmed and reviewed.
