Pets

This text provides practical activity ideas with photocopiable stories, poems and songs all based on the popular early years topic of pets. The six chapters of activities look at familiar pets such as dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, rabbits and also the pet shop. There are eight photocopiable sheets providing linking activities and two further chapters are full of ideas for effective displays and assemblies. A topic web for planning links the activities to preparing for the National Curriculum and the Scottish 5-14 guidelines.
