Myself

"Myself" is a popular theme undertaken in nursery and reception classes. This book provides all the material to plan and carry out the theme. There are 48 pages of cross-curricular activities to familiarise young children with concepts such as their appearance, clothes, homes, feelings and health. Eight linking photocopiable sheets provide reinforcement activities and there is a chapter of ideas for display. There are a further 25 pages of photocopiable stories, poems, songs and assembly ideas all based on the theme. A topic web for planning links the activities to both the National Curriculum and the Scottish 5 - 14 Guidelines.
