The workbook contains three types of activities/exercises for each chapter. They are theory, abbreviated patient service and diagnosis descriptions, and original reports. Theory questions are comprised of fill in the blanks, multiple choice and true or false questions. The abbreviated patient service and diagnosis descriptions are line coding exercises. The original reports exercises give students the opportunity to gain a real-world experience by coding from original source documents that have been "washed? of all confidential information.
