Growing up in the inner-city projects of South Nashville an impoverished community can be vigorous. Destined for greatness Calvin "Fridge" Bryant becomes a high school football star and leader for his entire community. When life takes an unexpected turn, he is forced to make a decision at the age of fifteen to better his environment. Bryant becomes involved in a national street organization. Crossed by a longtime "family friend" who became a government informant wearing a wiretap lands Calvin in prison for 17 years. After serving a decade in prison, Bryant is back to tell both sides of the story.
