Aaron Brindle was born on March 13, 1980, in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. A graduate in psychology and education, he is a published writer of both poetry and prose. Inspired by Japanese poets such as Matsuo Basho, he began experimenting with English variations of haiku and senryu in the early years of the 21st century. His free verse reflects his influences: the French poet Arthur Rimbaud, as well as American Beat writers such as Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg and Charles Bukowski.
