Investigating Non-fiction and Media: Teacher's Resource Book

This teacher's resource book contains photocopiable resources which not only extend the study of the issues considered in the pupil's book, but also highlight opportunities for studying grammar and comprehension skills in preparation for SATs tests. In addition, it offers guidance on how to get the most out of the kinds of texts used and how to adapt activities to suit other source material. The text aims to help teachers address National Curriculum English requirements. The book is part of the "Investigating Non-Fiction and Media" package, which also includes a pupil's book. It aims to explore a wide range of texts and guides pupils in their investigation of techniques used to create writing for a variety of purposes.
