This book presents a history of the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes, which is regarded as one of the most important middle-distance horse races in the world and has provided some of the most memorable moments in racing history. The race has produced winners such as Brigadier Gerard, Mill Reef, Busted, Ribot and Nashwan, which are among the most famous racehorses in the post-war history of the turf.
