After a very troubled childhood and youth James Brett, in 1999, initiated the pomegranate juice industry in the UK by founding and launching Pomegreat, Britains first pomegranate juice brand. In 2007, whilst attending a seminar on pomegranates in Kabul, he took a stroll into a poppy field and convinced the farmer that pomegranates, rather than heroin were the answer. And so, his charity POM354 was born. This is the incredible story behind the birth of the charity and James Brett's vision for transforming the darkness of drug culture into the bright future of pomegranate juice.
